I’m SO excited to announce that A Simple and Contented Life now has its very own Facebook Group! Something I’ve been thinking about doing for a while now, a few members of the A Simple and Contented Life community have been asking me to set one up. And so, I decided it was time to finally hit that launch button!
Why a Facebook group?
I’m here to help you every way I can to make family life LESS stressful and MORE enjoyable. To help you become the BEST version of yourself whilst creating a family life you LOVE. And so, it makes perfect sense to create an online space where fellow mamas are free to share their parenting (and life) worries, woes, wins and joys.
No matter how overwhelmed or stressed you might be feeling right now, there ARE things you can do to slow life down and take back control. There ARE steps you can take to start creating a life you love TODAY. And inside the Facebook group, you’ll find all the guidance and support you need to make that happen.
No ordinary Facebook group…
Now I know there are thousands of other Facebook groups out there, so why should you join mine? What makes this one so special? Because the A Simple and Contented Life Facebook group isn’t just a Facebook group. It’s a movement. A movement full of women who are proudly taking steps EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. towards a life they don’t want to take a vacation from.
Time is precious…
I know that your time is precious and I know that you’re wanting to eliminate the unessential, so the last thing you need is to be part of yet another Facebook group that doesn’t serve you. And so, in this group, you won’t find any posting and ghosting. Nor will you be left wondering who runs the group, who’s leading the way. You’ll find SO much more than just my latest blog posts and a few motivational quotes.
Instead of just talking about how to make a positive change for the better, I’ll show you HOW to do it AND give you the tools and resources so you can make it happen. By being part of the group, you’ll benefit from honest advice, guidance and support from a fellow mum who understands the joys AND stresses of modern motherhood. PLUS, you’ll be part of a community full of women who get it. Women who want to live a life more intentional and have each other’s backs.
So who is the group for?
A safe and happy space, the group is for women who want to make a change for the better. Women who are committed to creating and living a life they love. Women who aren’t afraid of stepping up and stepping out in order to become the best version of themselves. They don’t necessarily have all the answers or know how to make their dream life a reality just yet, but they know that by being part of this group, they’re taking the first step towards making it happen.
And so, if you want to step out of a life on autopilot and into one of purpose, if you want to create a family life you LOVE, this is THE Facebook group for you.
Who is the group not for?
If you’re someone who would rather moan about the hand they’ve been dealt instead of doing something about it, the A Simple and Contented Life Facebook community isn’t for you. As tough as it might sound, you have to actually want to make a change for the better and be prepared to put in the work, or I can’t help you. I am SO incredibly passionate about helping you to live a life more intentional and will help you any way I can to make it happen. BUT, you have to want it too. If you aren’t ready to start being REALLY honest about what you want from your life and willing to start making the changes needed, no matter how scared you might be, I can’t help you.
But, I know that’s not you because if it was, you wouldn’t still be reading this post! I know that because you’re still reading this, you have what it takes to create AND live a life you love. You’re ready to start letting go of all the things that are weighing you down so that you’re free to start saying yes to the things that truly matter. And that’s how I know this Facebook group is for YOU.

1 | Challenge Mondays
Every Monday I post a new challenge for that week in the group. Both fun and practical, these challenges will help you organise both your home AND your life. They’ll help you reduce mental AND physical clutter and help you create systems for your home so its easier to manage. PLUS, they’ll help you reset your priorities so you have time to focus on the things that truly matter. You’ll see challenges like:
- It’s time for a purge! Say goodbye to a few things you no longer use, want or need!
- Be kind to your mind. Free yourself from all the mental clutter with a mind dump.
- Make mealtimes easier. Save yourself from stress and last-minute panic by making a list of all your go-to meals.
- Evaluate your routines. Ask whether they work for you and if there are any others you can add to make your life easier.
- When was the last time you celebrated all you’ve achieved? Write a reverse bucket list. Celebrate those wins and accomplishments!
2 | Wellness Wednesdays
Wellness Wednesday is all about taking steps to make your own well-being a priority. To find more time for you and how to put yourself first – without feeling guilty. Each week I share a top tip/actionable step you can easily take to help you take better care of yourself. Tips like:
- Write a list of all the things that make you happy. Pick one and do it today.
- Look after Number One. Create your very own self-care pamper kit.
- Make life a little simpler. Be more mindful about what you say yes to.
- Worry less about what people think. Pay attention to how you feel instead.
- Learn to recognise your stress triggers. Deal with them BEFORE they get on top of you.
3 | Regular Facebook lives
The A Simple and Contented Life Facebook group isn’t one of those groups where you have no idea who’s leading it. I know that the more present I am, the more I can help you. And the more you’re able to connect with me. And so, I ‘go live’ at least three times a week. I go deep on how to get the most out of Challenge Monday. I share what’s worked for me on Wellness Wednesdays and Fridays, I do something fun and talk about the biggest takeaways from my latest post.
4 | Q&A sessions
Once a month I’ll be doing a Facebook live dedicated to answering any questions you have about making life simpler. I’ll be answering questions like:
- How do I get my son organised with sports, schoolwork and chores? I feel like I have to constantly remind him!
- My to-do list makes me anxious. How do I stop feeling so disappointed in myself when I don’t complete everything on it?
- How do I stop feeling guilty about leaving my child?
- I constantly feel like I’m not doing enough to give my kids the best childhood. What can I do about this?
- How do I manage healthy boundaries around screen-time with my teenage son?
- …and many more!
4 | Deep Dives
As well as the Q&A sessions, I’ll be doing regular workshops where we dive deep into a particular topic. I’ll be sharing my top tips and you’ll walk away with simple strategies you can implement RIGHT AWAY to help you make family life LESS stressful and MORE enjoyable. Deep dives planned include how to:
- Assess what you really want from your life.
- Reduce mental and physical clutter.
- Organise your home so it’s easier to manage.
- Spend more time with friends and family.
- Take better care of yourself.
- …and much more!

I’ve said before that this blog is a blog from the heart and I truly mean it. I firmly believe that whatever struggles you’re facing right now, there are things you can do to make a change for the better and start living a life you LOVE.
