Halloween costumes for you…

#1 | Immortal soul costume
Hands up if you remember the Addams Family movies? I loved watching those when I was a kid! This would be perfect as a Morticia Addams costume, just don’t forget the black heels and dark red lipstick! And if your other half is going with you, make sure he dresses up as Gomez!

#2 | Classic vampire costume
This costume makes me think of the movie Van Helsing. I love the red too, it’s guaranteed to make you stand out amongst the crowds. Complete the outfit with a pair of heels and long black nails.

#3 | Miss Edward Scissorhands
Edward Scissorhands was another of those must-watch movies when I was growing up. I’m a huge Johnny Depp fan too so this one had to feature on my list! This version comes complete with wig and gloves for the scissorhands.

#4 | Day of the Dead Senorita’s costume
Going to a James Bond-inspired Day of the Dead party? This costume is perfect! I love how bright it is and it’s a good excuse to not only wear a pair of heels but heels in a colour I’d never dream of wearing otherwise. The tights are pretty cool too!

#5 | Graveyard Bride costume with veil
I REALLY like this one and have a feeling it’s the costume I’m going to go for this year. I’d need to find a bouquet of roses and a wig, but I love the skirt and how the sleeves match the tights. I just need to find someone to do the make-up for me!
Costumes for your kids…

#1 | Batwing tutu skirt
This little outfit is SO cute!! Purple is one of my favourite colours, but this is just adorable and perfect for your little one. She’ll love running around trick or treating, wand in hand!
#2 | Mis-matched witches outfit
Have a wannabe-witch in your family? This outfit is guaranteed to make her feel like she’s a member of the cast of the Wizard of Oz! Bright and cheerful, the tights are really funky and all her friends will be queuing up to try on the hat!

#3 | Unisex Day of the Dead skeleton costume
Remember that Day of the Dead- themed party? Well, why not have your little ones dress up in matching costumes with you?! You’d look great wandering up the road trick or treating together!
#4 | The Joker
What boy doesn’t like Batman? And with this costume, your son can go to his Halloween party dressed as Batman’s arch enemy, The Joker. And if they have a sister, why not get her a Catwoman costume so they match!
#5 | Zombie schoolgirl
Finally, how about a zombie schoolgirl outfit?! Zombie costumes make a great last-minute Halloween costume. This one looks like a lot of effort has gone into it but all you’d need to do to complete it is add a bit of red food colouring to some white tights!
Must-have Halloween party accessories…
A good Halloween party wouldn’t be complete without a few fun decorations and accessories! Here are five of my favourites and items I’ll be ordering this year.
#1 | Happy Halloween banners
Every party has to have balloons and banners! I LOVE these orange and black ones and all the different faces on the balloons make it really fun. With 30 balloons in the pack, this kit is more than enough to get your Halloween party started.

#2 | Halloween photo booth props
Everyone loves taking selfies and photo booth props make parties a LOT of fun. Pose with your kids and have them pose with their friends. With hats, glasses, funky ties and silly signs, you’re guaranteed some great pictures! You could even get some disposable cameras so your guests can take their pictures home with them!

#3 | ‘Drink Up Witches’ bunting
This is a great banner to compliment the orange and black ‘Happy Halloween‘ banners above. And because it says ‘drink up witches‘ it’d be perfect above the table with all the drinks – especially with a cauldron underneath labelled ‘Witches Brew‘!
#4 | Bat wall stickers
Complete your wall decorations with these funky stick-on bats. With 24 in a pack, there are plenty to make any wall look ‘spooktastic‘! Why not get two or three sets and really go to town!

#5 | Trick or treat buckets
No Halloween party is complete without trick or treat buckets! Sure, you could get the usual pumpkin ones, but I really like these felt baskets. With three colours and designs to choose from, they’re great if you have several kids trick or treating together as they can all choose a different one!
Last-minute Halloween costume ideas…
There you have it! My favourite last-minute Halloween costume ideas. Pick one of these and you’re all set. Don’t forget to get a few Halloween accessories too…especially a pumpkin basket so you have somewhere to stash all those treats! I’m off now to pick out my own costume…I’m thinking it’s going to HAVE to be the Graveyard Bride one!
Are you going to a Halloween party this year? What costume will you choose? Let me know in the comments below…and Happy Halloween!
