How to elevate your life…
I LOVE featuring guest bloggers on A Simple and Contented Life. Not only does it help me to share more content with you but it’s a great way for me to showcase the work of bloggers I love too! And this month is no exception. Each week, for the whole of August, I’ll be publishing a series all about how to elevate your life by the lovely Nicole from Higher Level Living.
Nicole and I came across one another fairly recently inside one of my favourite Facebook groups, Pinterest Ninjas. Sharing very similar visions and missions, we jumped on a Zoom call together and hit it off straight away. We instantly knew we needed to collaborate and so we thought we’d kick things off with this four-part series. I love everything Nicole is doing and know you’re going to love her just as much too!
Introducing Nicole…
Nicole describes herself as a survivor, overcomer, wellness warrior, life designer and coach. She’s also a “book-loving nature nerd with a cute coffee shop obsession” – which is one of the reasons we hit it off straight away. Who doesn’t like curling up with a good book and an excuse for just one more cup of coffee, right?!
But that’s not the only thing we have in common. We’ve both travelled very similar paths that have brought us to where we are today. Just like me, Nicole has her own cancer story to share (read mine here) but for her, it was 3 times before the age of 30. Now she is relentlessly committed to all things wellness, personal growth, and living life on purpose.
Nicole is living proof that it’s possible to make your dreams a reality and live a happy, prosperous and full life even in the face of relentless adversity. Today, her passion is equipping you to do the same. And so, for the next four weeks, consider her your guide to higher-level living.
What does ‘elevate your life’ mean?
Nicole firmly believes that we are all capable of higher-level living. That it is possible to go from just ‘existing‘ to living a life full of passion and purpose. To live our best life every single day. We just have to decide what we want to do and take the steps to make it happen. And that’s where elevating your life comes in.
Elevating your life is all about being intentional about the things you do every day. It’s about discovering your truth and stepping up to become the person you want and know you’re capable of being. You don’t have to have it all figured out or go it alone. You just need to take it one step at a time. And in this series, Nicole is going to show you what those steps are.
So what will Nicole be sharing?
Over the next four weeks, we’re going to be talking all about how to step out of a life on autopilot and into one of purpose. By the end of the month, you’ll have reignited that spark inside of you. No longer will you feel like what you do isn’t enough. Or like a failure when you don’t accomplish your goals. Instead, you’ll know exactly how to focus on who you are in the moment and celebrate all you’ve achieved.
No matter how overwhelmed, frustrated, disorganised or lost you might be feeling right now, Nicole’s strategies are going to help you feel calmer, more in control and closer to living your best life. Here’s how Nicole is going to help you elevate your life:

- 16th August: How to reignite your passion in life.
- 23rd August: How to feel like you have it all together – even when you don’t!
- 30th August: The secret to living your best life.
Just the titles of these posts make me want to dive in right away! I can’t wait to read them and discover what Nicole’s strategies are. Especially when it comes to feeling like you have it all together. I regularly feel like I’m winging it at this thing called life, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what her tips are!
But that’s not all we’re doing this month…
